The Balearic Islands are located in the Mediterranean Sea, between North Africa and the Iberian Peninsula.
These islands consist of Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca, Formentera, and Cabrera. Many cultures have influenced the culture of these islands, including Ancient Greek, Roman, North African, British, Italian and most recently Spanish. Today, the islanders speak Spanish and Catalán.
Ibiza is a popular destination for travel because of the sand, sun and fun environment available. In fact, some ancient myths say the inhabitants walked around naked because the weather was so gorgeous all year round. Average temperatures in the summer hover around a heavenly 29ºC.
